Don’t Forget the Mom

Don’t Forget the Mom

Don’t Forget the Mom

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately…

Every time someone has a baby, I see the same beautiful pattern.

Friends show up with tiny outfits.

Grandparents bring stuffed animals.

There are flowers.

Balloons.

Baby blankets.

And so much excitement.

I love every bit of it.

But somewhere in all that celebrating, I always find myself wondering…

Who’s remembering Mom?

🤍 She’s Becoming Someone New, Too

The day a baby is born…

A mom is born, too.

That feels worth celebrating.

Not because she wants attention.

But because she’s stepping into a brand-new chapter of life.

I think that deserves kindness.

Encouragement.

And a reminder that she’s doing better than she probably thinks.

🤍 The Little Things Matter

I’ve learned that the smallest gestures often become the biggest memories.

A coffee left on the porch.

A handwritten note.

A funny text.

A meal she didn’t have to cook.

A gift that says,

“I was thinking about you today.”

Those moments stay with people.

🤍 There Isn’t a Perfect Way to Show Up

Sometimes we worry so much about saying the perfect thing that we end up saying nothing at all.

I’ve done that.

But motherhood has taught me that showing up imperfectly is almost always better than staying silent.

Just let her know she’s on your heart.

That’s enough.

🤍 Why This Matters to Me

People sometimes ask why I started Pillow Packs.

The answer has never changed.

I wanted moms to feel remembered.

Not because gifts fix everything.

But because I believe kindness has a way of reaching people exactly when they need it most.

That’s the heart behind every Pillow Pack we create.

My Favorite Thought

I don’t think anyone ever regrets being too thoughtful.

But I do think we sometimes miss opportunities to remind people how much they matter.

Maybe today’s one of those opportunities.

🤍 Until Next Time…

If this article made someone pop into your mind…

Send the text.

Mail the card.

Drop off the coffee.

Order the gift.

Whatever it is…

Don’t wait.

Because I have a feeling they’ll remember your kindness long after they forget what day it arrived.

Thank you for sharing a cup of coffee with me today.

🤍 Celeste
