Best Baby Shower Gifts That Aren’t on the Registry
I have a little confession…
I absolutely love baby registries.
They’re practical.
They’re helpful.
And I always buy something from them.
But…
I almost never stop there.
I always want to include one gift that isn’t on the registry.
Something unexpected.
Something personal.
Something that says,
“I was thinking about you—not just checking a box.”
Those are usually the gifts people remember.
🤍 A Gift That’s Just for Mom
The baby is about to be showered with love.
Tiny outfits.
Books.
Blankets.
Sweet little toys.
I love all of it.
But I also think the mom deserves something that reminds her she’s being celebrated, too.
Sometimes that’s the gift that means the most.
🤍 A Bamboo Ultrasound Photo Holder
One of my favorite keepsakes actually comes from before the baby is even born.
That tiny ultrasound photo.
I love the idea of giving it a beautiful place to live instead of letting it stay tucked away in a drawer.
Sometimes the smallest things become family treasures.
🤍 A Journal
I’ve always thought journals make wonderful gifts.
There are no rules.
Maybe it becomes a place for memories.
Maybe funny stories.
Maybe little notes written to a baby.
Or maybe it simply waits until the right season.
That’s the beauty of it.
🤍 A Letter They’ll Keep Forever
This might be my favorite idea.
Write a letter.
Tell them why they’ll be wonderful parents.
Share a memory.
Offer encouragement.
Years from now, I have a feeling they’ll treasure those words far more than another adorable outfit.
🤍 A Favorite Children’s Book
Instead of signing a card…
Write your message inside the cover of a favorite children’s book.
Every bedtime story becomes a reminder of the person who gave it.
I love gifts that continue giving long after the shower is over.
🤍 A Gift That Feels Like a Hug
When I created Pillow Packs, I wasn’t trying to reinvent baby gifts.
I simply wanted to create something that reminded moms they mattered, too.
Comfort.
Kindness.
Connection.
Those are the things I hope every gift leaves behind.
My Favorite Thought
Whenever I’m shopping for a baby shower…
I ask myself one question.
“Will they remember this five years from now?”
The gifts people hold onto usually aren’t the loudest.
They’re the ones that quietly make someone feel loved.
🤍 Until Next Time…
Thank you for spending a few minutes with me today.
If you have a baby shower coming up…
I hope you choose something that makes someone feel remembered.
Because I honestly think that’s what meaningful gifting is all about.
Thank you for sharing a cup of coffee with me.
